Home Science Tools has been helping families understand and delight in God's creation through science for ten years. They specialize in offering great science materials, written from a Creationist/Christian worldview. They offer quality products, low prices, and prompt order shipment.

A Science newsletter is also accessible at their website (free) and it is just awesome! The newsletter features a suggested study about a scientific topic/process/person and offers LOTS of creative, interesting ideas for studying the topic at hand. They also give great related links so your eager pupils will have just as much information as he/she could possibly need or want. If you never liked science, you will now! If you always loved science, your love will be enhanced by going to this site.

Information on simplifying your lifestyle, organizing your home, restructuring your finances or finding a whole new path. Simplicity is the theme of this web site and it IS refreshing! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to really enjoy life and stop racing to a fro all the time? Find out what you've been missing and learn how to create simple joy and contentment in your home and family.

Have you ever wondered where all the Titus 2 women are? Come to this web site and find out! The entire web site is dedicated to building up and encouraging mothers, in the spirit of Titus 2. Steve and Teri Maxwell (parents of 8 children) have written a wonderful resources book called "Managers of Their Homes" (MOTH) that is worth its weight in gold. The book encourages home educating mothers to carefully consider their calling in light of the Scriptures, then organize and stucture their homes and lives accordingly. Very practical and applicable; helpful, not focused on how we may look to others but instead on examining our hearts first and foremost and honoring God with our lives as mothers and wives.

You will also find great book recommendations, articles and a free monthly email column called Dad's and Mom's Corners that inspires and challenges home educating parents.

The array of articles at this web site is amazing! There are articles to challenge you as a wife and to cause you to stop and evaluate your Christian marriage in light of God's Word. For those living with an unsaved spouse, you will find hope and help here, too. Other topics include child training, home education tips,marriage/courtship, and Biblical examples and stories of Godly women that we can have as mentors. There is a special section near the end that addresses "burn out" and stress or discouragement in mothers. What a wealth of wisdom is found here!

There are two powerful "dynamation" presentations here. One is about the Creation and the other is about life and Christ. The Creation presentation takes a few minutes to load when you first go to the site, so use the time to gather the kids around the computer screen. Turn on your speakers to hear the beautiful piano arrangement of Pachabel's Canon in D and sit back to enjoy the wonderful message! Then click on "ONE" near the angel for the other presentation.

Also available, "The Hope Booklet", designed to provide peace, comfort, and hope to those people whose lives were touched by the recent World Trade Center disaster. It includes Bible answers to 23 of the hardest questions people are asking along with a concise gospel presentation. What a valuable resource to have!

Wow! This site is loaded with interesting information. There is a special place where home education issues are tackled including articles and essays, ezine links, home schooler's homepages, learning styles information, preschool ideas, printable worksheets, scope and sequence charts, styles of home educating, lesson planning, journaling, home schooling with ADD/ADHD children and homemade home school yearbooks.

Home education is a challenge even when everyone is healthy. But when mom gets sick or someone else in the family is ill, it can seem like a very long journey......Even though it often seems likeyou are the only one suffering, it is nice to know that you are not.

Rest Ministries has a website for moms who are home educating with chronic illness. It is loaded with articles, a message board, resources and encouragement. God knows your limitations and wants you to find rest in the midst of sticky hands and math equations!

The Homeschool Bookroom is a Yahoo Group Discussion forum for the parents and grandparents of homeschooled children. Parents who are planning to homeschool and those who have ministries to homeschoolers are also welcome to join.

Members vary in educational style. The one thing that unites them all is that they use "Living" Books and other materials designed to "delight" the interested learner.

The members typically keep textbooks and "junk" (twaddle) reading to a minimum, encouraging their children to choose books that engage their minds, inspire their imaginations, and thrill their hearts! Anything that relates to a *living homeschool education* is on topic for this list. They discuss books, videos, audios, educational toys and more. They welcome book reviews, notices of helpful web sites and catalogs, reviews of curriculum guides, shelving suggestions, and more! All homeschooling families are welcome to join. The Bookroom is run as a Christian list and is moderated by Mrs. Valerie Jacobsen.
